Owning a bookstore had been a long-standing dream for couple Anthony and Wendy since their days in Upstate New York. After about 15 years of calling the Las Vegas Valley their home and watching local bookstores come and go, they decided it was time to make their dream a reality.  Soon after, a location was found, and a former children's art center was rebuilt from the ground up to reflect the cozy bookstore from their dreams. With lots of natural light, lower shelves for easier browsing, and many comfortable seating options, Copper Cat Books came alive to give Henderson a new favorite bookstore.

Now into its 8th year, CCB has been through many ups and downs but has remained optimistic on continuing to serve the community with books and connection with each other and local authors.
